bio

 
 

Scott Turri grew up in Philadelphia. He received his BA from the University of Pittsburgh in 1986, and ten years later he earned his MFA from West Virginia University. He is currently pursuing a MS in Multimedia at Duquesne University. Primarily a painter, he has worked in video as well. His paintings have been featured twice in New American Paintings. His work has been exhibited nationally and internationally. In 2006 he was awarded a Pennsylvania Council on the Arts Individual Artist Fellowship Award. He lives in Pittsburgh where he is married to an intelligent, beautiful woman and has two lovely daughters.
